Program Dates: May 20 – July 31, 2021

It’s time for Summer Reading at Prescott Public Library! Summer Reading is for readers of all ages– with programs for Pre-K (ages 0-4), Kids (ages 5-11), Teens (ages 12-18), and Adults (ages 19+). This year’s Summer Reading theme is Tails and Tales, and our librarians have lots of reading fun planned to keep you reading all summer long!

Read, Track Your Minutes, and Earn Prizes!

  • Youth (ages 0-18): Earn one ticket for every 20 minutes you read or listen to someone read. Board books, picture books, chapter books, audiobooks… it all counts! Whether you log your minutes on paper, online, or through the app, you will receive one ticket for every 20 minutes you read. Redeem your tickets for fun prizes at the Summer Reading Prize Store, located at the Youth Desk on the 1st floor.
Note: July 31 is the last day to log minutes and earn prize tickets. All youth prize tickets must be redeemed by Saturday, August 7.
  • Adults (ages 19+): For every 200 minutes of reading activity you log, you are automatically entered into a weekly raffle for a $25 gift card! Three gift cards will be awarded each week.

THREE WAYS TO PARTICIPATE– Choose one!

Beginning May 20:

  • Sign up at the Youth Desk and receive a paper reading log to track your minutes
