Kids, teens and adults can register now for the library’s Summer Reading Program. Register at the library or at

The actual program begins Saturday, June 1. That’s the date that readers can begin logging their reading progress, and making it count toward rewards. For more information, call 928.777.1537 for kids’ and teens’ programs; or 928.777.1526 for the adult program.

Adult Summer Reading Program: Every 200 minutes of logged reading earns participants an entry into a weekly drawing to win a $25 gift card. A Bingo card will also be available to play and redeem for prizes.

Teen Summer Reading Program: Teens will earn prizes upon reaching their reading milestones; finishers will be entered into a drawing for gift certificates. The teen program features the fifth annual Battle of the Books; a wonderful series of “Just Write” workshops; and a bingo challenge.

Children’s Summer Reading Program: The children’s program will feature prizes, crafts, activities and weekly entertainment, including Wildman Phil’s critters, magician Eddie Siller and lots of other great performers.

The programs are made possible through generous support of the Friends of Prescott Public Library.
