How does it work?The tutor and student communicate in a virtual classroom via IM (instant messenger). Live Homework Help® also uses two-way white boards, which are especially helpful for math and science problems. The tutor sees the grade level, subject and student's question, and the student sees the tutor's first name and last initial. The tutor is not allowed to share personal or identifying information.

Tutors include certified teachers, college professors, and professional tutors, all with proven subject experience in the fields they tutor. All tutors have passed criminal background checks and comply with the Childrens Online Protection Act and Childrens Internet Protection Act.
Is help available outside of regular program hours?Yes! Tutors are available to provide personal assistance from 3-10 p.m. every day. When tutors are not available, students can use The SkillsCenter Resource Library to build skills and more.
