TeleCirc is an automated voice messaging system that is connected to the Prescott Public Library Online Catalog. This is juist one of the functions that TeleCirc is capable of. Not only can TeleCirc call you, you can call TeleCirc.

TeleCirc allows you to carry out a number of transactions without a personal computer. TeleCirc can be used anytime, even when the library is closed. It is fast, efficient, and convenient.

You can call TeleCirc about:

• Renewals - Renew items you have checked out
• Holds - Find out if holds are waiting for you to pick them up
• Hold Cancellations - Cancel holds that are waiting for you that you no longer need
• Due Dates - Hear a list of items you have checked out and their due dates

How Does TeleCirc Work?

• Simply dial 771-5820 from your touch-tone phone with you library card number at hand
• Follow the prompts and enter your 14-digit library card number and the last 4-digits of your phone number when asked
• Follow the prompts given by the TeleCirc voice to complete your transactions

Why Does the TeleCirc Voice Sound Funny?

TeleCirc has a synthesized voice which enables it to pronounce words in the titles of library materials and patrons' names.

TeleCirc sometimes has difficulty pronouncing names. If you would like to record your own name for TeleCirc to use, call TeleCirc and enter 6 on the menu.

When Can I Call TeleCirc?

You can call TeleCirc 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
