Tuesday, March 9 10 a.m. Tuesday Morning Book Club. Read and share your insights into Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford with the group. Join the Tuesday Morning Book Club to read and discuss a wide variety of contemporary fiction and nonfiction. 3:30 p.m. Teens Ask the Judge. Thomas Jacobs J.D., a retired juvenile and family court judge, will present an informal workshop for teens about how the law affects them. This program is for young adults in grades 6-12. Local artist Bettie Setz created and donated a gorgeous quilt to raise funds to enhance the library's fiber arts collection. Prescott’s Pride is sewn from 2,000 individual pieces, and includes hand-drawn images of local flora and fauna. The winning ticket will be drawn Sunday May 2 at Jazz in the Stacks. You need not be present to win. The 62”x62” quilt is on display at the Downtown Library. Raffle tickets are available at library Check Out Desks- $1 each, or 6 for $5. Quilt Raffle Rules
Prescott Public Library is hosting a Census Question Assistance Center in the Valentine Room 9 a.m.- noon; Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Census numbers are used to fund important local services like AHCCCS, hospitals, job training, community grants and emergency services. Whether you are a citizen or not, if you live here, be counted here. Over $1200 per person is received in Prescott every year for each person counted. Help make this a historic Census in Prescott!
