Thank you for your interest in becoming a Prescott Public Library volunteer. Our volunteers perform valuable tasks which enhance services for patrons and provide support for staff.
Prescott Public Library has a number of rewarding opportunities for volunteers, including supporting youth and adult programming, working hands-on with our collection, helping patrons with technology and assisting with our Friends of the Library Book Sale to name a few.
For a complete listing of volunteer opportunities, view PPL Volunteer Opportunities.
Our goal is for library volunteers to feel their time is valued, benefits the community and supports the library’s mission. To ensure the experience benefits both the volunteer and our staff, volunteers should be:
- Age 16 or older
- Volunteer opportunities for teens in grades 6 -12 can be found here
- Looking for an ongoing opportunity lasting 12 months or longer
- Able to commit to a regular schedule (weekly or monthly) – at most 10 hours per week
