Friends of the Prescott Public Library If you've ever wanted to say "thank you" to the Prescott Public Library ...because it's a library, a great one, and it's there when you need it...one way to do it is to become a Friend in deed. Since its organization in 1968, the Friends of the Prescott Library have provided the library almost $2,000,000 for books, equipment, facilities and programs. Friends help. Just a sampling of the many items they have provided include:
The ongoing Book Sale provides major funding for the Friends' many contributions to the Library. Your book donations in all categories are vital and needed year round. Help our library to nurture authors, scholars, students, readers, volunteers...to be the do-it-yourselfer's answer to continuing education, the students basic resource, childhood's haven, civilization's grand achievement. Join the Friends of the Prescott Public Library and receive a special library card that entitles you to an ongoing 10% discount in the Book Sale area. You'll also receive the Roundup, the quarterly newsletter of the friends. The Friends also accept and administer bequests
