Prescott Public Library and Professional Writers of Prescott are teaming up again this year to present the third annual literary contest for youth. This year, we invite students in grades 3-12 to submit poetry. The divisions are High School (9-12), Middle School (6-8), and Elementary (3-5). First through third place in each division will receive gift certificates, certificates of merit, and published books of the winning poems.
Awards will be presented at the Prescott Library at 10:30 AM on Saturday, May 4, 2013. Presented with funding from the Friends of the Prescott Public Library and the Professional Writers of Prescott. Call the Youth Desk at 777-1537 for more information.
